Our next in-person Writing Studio is set for April 9th, 2025.
We want to see you there.

It's free. It's open to all. Not only that, but it's meant to bring a spark back to your process.

We're having the event at Bold Monk Brewing from 7 PM to 9 PM.

The concept is simple: show up, grab a seat, and write. What follows is an hour of networking, making friends, and perhaps stumbling upon your next big idea.

We also have writing prompts ready to go if you're looking for inspiration.

In a development shocking absolutely no one, @Miles Trujillo has once again obliterated the competition in the latest writing sprint with a casual, no-big-deal 13,960 words—a number so high, we suspect he’s either ghostwriting for James Patterson or has trained a team of caffeinated squirrels to type for him.

Meanwhile, in an underdog comeback story worthy of a movie montage, Katina—who spent last month staring at her blinking cursor in quiet defeat—clawed her way to second place with 4,087 words. That’s right. From dead last to numbers so low she should have been last. How was she able to claim second place?

It turns out that @Chase Stewart, who once basked in silver-medal glory, may have gone off track, distracted by a flurry of gnats. Sources close to Chase report that he’s “fine” and “not bitter at all,” though his passive-aggressive snack choices (chewing loudly on celery) tell a different story.
